Beet – I just read your comments above again and I’m sorry to say that I’m following Goodbye and finding another celebrity blog. I’ve been disagreeing with you more and more lately. Defending Tom Cruise is over the top….not to mention the Lohan over-dose. I’ve had enough. I’m outa here.

Yeah I gotta agree that you’re way off on this Beet. No matter what avenue is used he still helps people and his annalysis of Tom Cruise was very acurate. His use of TV and radio I think is genius b/c he is able to reach a lot more people than just the one “caller” or patient. he is not tricking people into it, they are fully aware they are being heard and seen by millions of people. People listen/watch to hear his advice b/c they may have the same problem now ro in the future. I think the Celebrity Rehab also works as kind of a scared straight type of tactic.

I think its pathetic that Tom throws a lawsuit at anyone who criticizes him or any of his scientologist buddies. The only thing it proves is that he is a coward and cant defend his so called “religion”. Dr. Drew is entitled to his opinion! and I agree with him, he shouldn’t have given into the pressure.

Tom Cruise soley to blame for what people perceive is HIS insane behavior. It’s hard to have someone like Summer Redstone fire you for your creepy behavior, and site that as the reason for giving you the boot and publicly humiliating you in a way that has ruined his career and public persona. His “religion” is horrible, and if you read anything about it, it’s a cult.

So kudos to Dr Drew for saying he was sorry, but Cruise is held up as the gold standard of Hollywood insanity. For now.

Dr. Drew kicks ass. So what is he’s famewhoring to an extent. He’s helped a lot of people over the years and he deserves to get a lot more recognition for it. Drew’s awesome and he’s absolutely right about Tom Cruise and Scientology. He shouldn’t have apologized for that.
