Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!!!

HOLY CRAP!

McDonald’s said on Monday that it will stop serving sliced tomatoes in all its US stores, because of concerns about salmonella food poisoning linked to some uncooked varieties.

Winn-Dixie, Subway, Chipotle, Taco Bell, Vons and Albertsons are doing the same.

    fresh garden tomatoes are the only way to go anyway- they should have stopped serving those water-flavored mushy/mealy orange balls long ago.

    Up here, Quizno’s isn’t serving tomatoes but the market-type store Farm Boy doesn’t care as much about my health. They had tomatoes up the wazoo.

    Sub Catsup, chopped sundried tomatos, or.. wash well in running water, cut in half and remove all seeds, slice thinly, put on burger while final cooking, slap on cheese, when cheese melts tomato is done and safe to eat.. Da-dah
