Good god. It’s not a big deal. Deal with the fucking drinking age in your own way. You can go out and try to get a change, you can drink illegally, or, like you fine people have chosen, to constantly bitch about something that you have not remotely attempted or even thought about changing yourselves. Everything has to be done for you worthless fucks.

Mollay your stats are nice and accurate I think. But what is the gun rate use in violent crimes in US?? I think Hayden just underlines the fact that drinking is way less dangerous than …. OWNING A WEAPON!!!

I mean that is so obvious I don’t even understand how can we still allow such things in US!! Some banks offer guns when you open an account!! You can legally buy a weapon under 18 in some states!!
Does it sound right to you? Not to me!!

Right Chris, because the only dangers of alcohol amongsts minors are drunk driving. Let’s ignore alcohol-induced brain damange and the fact that half of violent crimes among people under the age of 21 are alcohol-related.

And those statistics are flawed. Of course the percentage of fatalities caused by alcohol would be smaller. I’m pretty sure teenagers drive to places other than parties. Unless you think teens spend just as much time on the road driving drunk as they do driving to school, work, etc.

i remember when drinking age was 18, but by the time i was legal it turned to 21.
in retrospect 18 is way too young to handle that responsibility, being that most 18 yo’s just want to get drunk and party. this is a stupid comment by hayden, but she’s not mature enough to realize it b/c in her less than legal years she thinks she knows it all already…just like we all did at her age.

the reason you can go to other countries and kill people at 18 is because 18 yr old guys are impressionable and not mature enough to see the negative aspects of it. i thought this was common knowledge.

18 in Quebec (and they rarely checked ID). The greatest thing about growing up in Ottawa is you drive 5 minutes over the border to Hull, Quebec and you are legal to drink and go to clubs. Once you turned 19 then you could party in Ottawa until 1am then drive over to Quebec and party there until 3am when the bars closed (yes, even back when I was a teenager in the 80’s we used a designated driver).
