Shania’s Husband’s Other Woman: First Photo

Man, I hate it when my conscience kicks in.
I feel really, really bad writing about this Shania Twain story. Here’s a woman who overcame a very difficult childhood and a ton of adversity to have a successful performing career, who kept her life and her marriage out of the tabloids, and who has generally been a very positive role model for her fans for many years. And then something really shitty happens in her life, as happens to us all at one point or another, and the press is all over it like flies on shit. Most of the time this job doesn’t make me feel guilty, but with this story it kind of does. I’m sorry, Shania. I think you rock.
Anyway, here’s the first photo of the woman Shania’s husband allegedly left her for, their 37-year-old secretary, Marie-Anne Thiébaud.
“Mutt and Marie-Anne left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship,” says a source close to the family.

Shania Twain is gorgeous, I’ve been lusting after her for years. If indeed the secretary situation is true (and it may well not be) then I do feel for her. To be betrayed by a trusted confidante has to be really painful.
He must really and truly love that woman. For her personality.
Can someone please get me a 2×4 so I can smack him upside his head? Or better yet, give us his address so we can send him some glasses.
Maybe Shania (or Mutt) stopped paying attention to their spouse and they grew apart.
I always keep in mind this tenet “No matter how good looking a person is, they’ve been dumped at some point in life by someone who was tired of putting up with them”.
If the marriage was not working out their is no excuse to go screwing around. Some people don’t believe in getting a divorce first.
Even if this secretary were gorgeous it wouldn’t make it okay. People should sort out their marraiges one way or another BEFORE moving on. How sad for their son. I feel for Shania. At least she took the high road which is more than her future ex and this woman can say or will ever be able to say. Success is the best revenge Shania. You got get em!
Shania is a beatiful woman who is musically gifted. Most of us just curl into the fetal position and cry it out. I hope she writes a wonderful song to help all of us get through betrayal. It sucks.

Why, if your conscience was really is bothering you, did you go ahead and post? Either it didn’t bother you that much or your full of BS. Or is it both ?
I know love is blind and looks really shouldn’t matter, but I found myself saying, “Shania’s so much PRETTIER than that other girl is, this can’t happen to her!” Poor thing.

Yeah, unfortunately, this is a big enough story that I really have to cover it. There’s a HUGE list of stories I do NOT post because they bother my conscience too much and they’re just not big enough stories to make it worth it. Compare my site to Perez’s, for instance … it’s sickening to me that people are covering the tragic death of Steven Curtis Chapman’s young daughter like it’s fucking gossip. I don’t touch shit like that. And you’ll almost never see me covering the death of celebrity’s non-famous parent, sister, brother, etc. I often make the choice to not post something when I feel it’s in poor taste. This isn’t really in poor taste — it just kind of sucks for Shania.

Why does everyone assume that Shania is some poor little wounded angel? She’s as ambitious and PR savvy as any other celebrity. Let’s not forget that Mutt – a highly regarded producer in the music industry – quite literally put her on the map.

I completely agree with Lollylicious, why bother attacking Beet? If you don’t what she says, why bother with the negativity. Beet was so cool to respond but why waste her time – just like you’re wasting mine because I feel the need to respond?

All of you who are attacking this woman because she is not as attractive as Shania are WRONG and if you would really take the time to think about it I think you would havfe to admit it. I would bet my last dollar that no one who has posted these hateful comments knows either Shania OR the “other woman” personally. I agree that Shania is much, much more physically attractive – but no one here knows what either of these women has in their hearts and souls, or what Mutt may have been putting up with. There could be any number of things going on in that marriage. Physical beauty does not gaurantee a successful marriage – or life for that matter.

Shania is a spoiled rotten bitch…. who never gives the people who wrote her songs their due credit, and she never gave her husband his credit either… the way most other singers are. Singers are a dime a dozen.(IT’S THE TRUTH)..but do they give the credit to the song writer their credit every time before they sing the song. Nooooo, all they are worried about is getting the glory for singing the song that they didn’t write…They all deserve what they get…bad karma…and they deserve it!!! I say the divorce is her fault. Shee can try to act as humble as she wants…but she is still taking the credit for songs that she didn’t write. So her humility is as phony as she is…as is the case with all singers and entertainers.. THE PERSON WHO WROTE THOSE BEAUTIFUL SONGS SHOULD BE GETTING THE CREDIT BUT NO ONE EVEN KNOWS WHO IT IS!!!
My heart breaks for Shania as I am going through what she is going through an the past 12 months have been hell on earth.
My husband’s other woman is also a very “plain” (that’s the best I can do without sounding bitchy) woman whilst people describe me as “stunning”, “gorgeous” “beautiful” etc. although I have always had no confidence or interest in my own looks.
However, as someone else here said, beauty is only skin deep and she must be a beautiful person underneath. That does not make me a bitch from hell though as I am not. I am over-sensitive and refuse to take abuse and if that makes me bad cos my husband wanted a doormat, so be it. Many friends have told me I’m the most caring, compassionate person they know but clearly my husband wants more and has found it in a plain, thicker-skinned woman. It’s as simple as that.
Just because Shania is gorgeous does not mean that there is anything wrong with her personality just because the other woman is plain-looking. They are simply different people and one man’s meat is another’s poison. Sad, but true. Sad for me, sad for Shania and sad for all the betrayed people out there who do not deserve to be hurt like this. We have to pick ourselves up and not fall apart and the last thing any of us need is more criticism!
