Dakota’s parents are purposely keeping her ultra skinny and pale to give the appearance that she is younger than she really is…once that child star ages, her ass will hit the pavement. No boobs, Dakota….boobs = no movie parts. :(
uh, hello, she might just be built that way I have a 22yr old friend who is STILL built that way and she eats just as much as any normal person.
and boobs may equal movie roles in the brainless comedy spoofs, but it isn’t always necessary if you’ve already made a name for yourself, like Dakota has. Kate Hudson is barely an A cup and she keeps getting parts.
That makes me think of how older JoJo looked when she started being famous, at only 15…

Wow….I can’t believe how different they both look. At first I thought that they were comparing Dakota to a 17 year old. Then I looked harder and saw that it was ALLIE LOHAN????They both don’t look their age. First of all, I know that times are different from say, the days that my parents grew up, but um, no matter how young my parents looked, they didn’t look as young as dakota. second I”M 14, and I look about 16. Yeah, Allie maybe you want the older roles, so your trying to look 18? and Dakota maybe you want the younger ones, so your trying to look 12? Its just that (I know this has nothing to do with it ) if you want the roles Dakota, I have no idea how your trying to dress, because if you want the younger roles, don’t wear a strapless dress, and don’t make your dresses look like a 35 year old would wear. i think dakota looks great in this picture. i love her dress. i’m almost sixteen, and i’d wear it. i don’t think it makes her look any younger than she should.
and she most certainly doesn’t have an eating disorder. her and her sister both have the same frame, which is slender.
and to another point mentioned, as to her having no boobs, and therefore no movie roles.. bull. check out kate hudsen, at the very least.

I am 14 too and Dakota and me are two days apart. I definately look so much older I guess and I hope I didn’t look as old as Ali Lohan. Ali’s much better looking than Lindsay. I have visible boobs unlike Dakota and I don’t wear makeup unlike Ali. Haha.

Dakota looks a bit young, for sure… but I think that’s just her body type’s fault- skinnier people like her often look younger. The dress is, perhaps, a bit young, but it’s conservative and classic, so I doubt it was an intentional ploy to get better parts, or whatever.

I’m sixteen and still have no boobs, when i was Dakotas age i looked like that to, she doesn’t look young she looks her age. Its everybody else who’s wearing so much makeup and tight skimpy clothes that are making themselves look older.
Why does it even matter what age she looks like. She is one of the most talented actor/actresses i’ve ever seen and she’s only 14! Every person she’s worked with has said she’s if not the best, one of the best actors they’ll ever work with, and look at her resume she’s worked with some FAMOUS people, Denzel, DeNiro, Kurt Russel, Tom Cruise, and more, some of those she worked with at like 9/10 and she was amazing, even at 7 she gave one of the best performences in a movie (i am sam) and got nominated as the younges actor ever for a screen actors guild award for it. obviously the critics think she’s amazing and perfect for challenging roles.
And Dakota’s film ages are all just about perfectly current with her age at the time of filming.

Dakota looks 13 Ali Lohan looks 25 or 26 in that picture. They definitely don’t look the same age. the main problem being that Ali looks older because she has darker hair, fuller lips, fuller chest and fuller hair. Dakota ha a more waifish look making her look younger. I do agree that Ali does look older though.

k i think dakota is adorable but im 13 and i look older than her. dakota doesnt look to me even 14 because she hasnt “developed” fully. atleast ali has some kind of “Developed” anatomy, but you cant compare ever 14 year old girl to dakota fanning because your going to find just how different they are. Most 14 year olds look more like ali, however ali has too much makeup and definitely got some kind of lip injections for that top lip.
i just turned 14 last month. i don’t think that i look AS young as dakota, but i definitely don’t look my age. dakota and i do have something in common though – we’re both really slender and we both have no chest. ahaha. so i see where she’s coming from. people need to stop being so hard on her. it’s not like she’s stunting her body’s growth on purpose!
