Man, I’m glad my mum laid down the law on not wearing pounds of make-up when I was that age… otherwise I’d end up looking like Ali. Thanks mum, for realizing that looking your age IS a good thing when you’re 14.
Dakota Fanning is adorable, and will always be. I love that she is smiling from ear to ear, whereas Ali is just being a snooty twat. Many fine suitors will come to Dakota… and an army of fine STI’s for the other one.

My almost 11 year old daughter thought that Dakota looked 12 and that Ali looked 21. That’s from a child’s eyes. It was a good visual for me to use though, the girl on the LEFT is who you DO want to be (or look) like–the girl on the RIGHT is who you DON’T want to be (or look) like! Then I had to explain what skank meant. I’ll have to watch what I say under my breath~!

I agree, Dakota is dressed like a 10-year old. I’m thinking waaaaaaaay back to when I was 14 and it was all about getting boys to notice you (and if I knew what a blow job was then, I knew I didn’t want to give one) BUT my dad would have dragged me into the washroom and washed my face if I dared wear that much make-up. Being 14 is about stealing cheap eye liner from the drug store and putting in on in the mall’s bathroom and wiping it off on the bus ride home. Not about starring in your (read: mother’s) reality show about getting “famous.”
I have a 12 y/o cousin who looks like a 12 y/o girl…very cute, no make-up, doesn’t worry about her hair…and SHE looks older than Dakota…I think it might be time for her to grow up a little…the other little skank girl, well, look who her role models are, what do we really expect?

Dakota Fanning is so cute. I want to feel sorry for Ali Lohan because I know her mother is the one pushing and pimping her out, now that she has no control over Lindsay, but….I just can’t. She obviously loves it. And she looks like a tranny.
Poor Ali – the makeup really isn’t helping her at all! And persistent Cat: I totally used to sneak makeup to school and take it off before I got home. Too bad it was the early 90’s and my eyeliner was aquamarine! Thank god I wasn’t on TV so everyone could make fun of me. Poor Ali.
One more thing – Ali seems to look like most 14 year olds do now (not that it’s a good thing though!) – the ones I see around dress like ladies of the evening and wear eyeshadow up to their eyebrows. I saw a girl on the bus a few months ago with a corset on for a shirt and she said “fuck” in every single sentence. 14 yr olds don’t look like they used to. I would have guessed that Dakota was 10, or younger.

Dakota Fanning was born in the town where I live (Conyers, Ga.) and her extended family still lives here. Her dad, Steve, grew up here and they’re just a good old small town family with southern values. My son played rec ball with some of the Fanning family. Dakota and her family still come to Conyers to see family and you can’t walk into the local places without seeing a lovely signed picture from Dakota on the walls. (Holly Hunter grew up here too.) Ali Lohan is a manufactured Stepford child who is being groomed to be another cash cow for her trash mom.
