Steven Tyler’s in Rehab

I guess it’s been a rough month for the Tyler clan.
After Liv announced earlier this month that she was splitting from her husband, her father, Steven, checked into a California rehab facility.
The Aerosmith frontman has checked into Las Encinas Hospital drug rehabilitation clinic to get some rehabbin’ from Dr. Drew, I guess.
Get better, Steven!!!

I think he should be more focused on his botched face lift. He was never technically attractive (yes, I found him hot for about 10 minutes in 1989) but now he just looks so so so very bad.

As a person in recovery myself, don’t blame the person, blame the disease. Either alcoholism (in my case) or addiction. I have friends that have had many years of sobreity and they have also relapsed. It’s not the end of the world, or anything for Steven to be ashamed of. He’s human. He’s sick. Most importantly he sought help. The road to recovery begins with the first step, which is “We admited we were powerless over alcohol/drugs and our lives had become unmanageable”. Aerosmith credited their recovery years ago to a 12-step program and their higher power. If it can work for me, it can work for anyone. It’s a humbling experience, and I thank God for it every day.

Oh, by the way, I’ve been a bartender for 20 years. If you keep working the 12 step program every day, you can still stay sober around all that temptation. I’m living proof.

I am the biggest Steven Tyler fan ever! For the people who hate and want to make jokes that aren’t even remotely funny, if you didn’t like Steven Tyler even a little bit you woulndn’t be wasting your time writing about him so believe me, some part of you likes him and is fascinated. He’s my rock god. A true poet and the greatest writer of lyrics in the business. I saw Aerosmith 4 times my first at the age of 8. Even at that age I knew I was watching and listening to something magical. Aerosmith’s music is ass shakin rock and roll. It’s hot and orgasmic baby! There will never be another band on the planet like them and there will never be a front man with a voice and attitude like Steven Tyler. ROCK AND FUCKIN ROLL FOREVER!
