Luckily for me, she's selfish (no pun intended!) that way, and went for the sushi. Maybe it's not that common everywhere, but on the west coast, maybe not *most*, but tons of kids eat sushi. Not everything you get at a sushi bar is raw, so it's not uncommon to see toddlers popping edamame like m&m's and scarfing down cucumber rolls.
