Who’s In Love with Emile Hirsch?

I, for one, don’t see the appeal here. There seems to be a huge trend of the new heartthrobs being these kind of nerdy boys. It just doesn’t work for me. I like the traditional leading man — tall, dark and handsome. Is that so wrong? Is crushing on classically hot dudes passe now?
And Christina Ricci is all of five feet tall. Granted, she’s wearing heels, but there’s just no way this guy is taller than 5′4″ or so. His stats, on assorted websites, say he’s either 5′6″ or 5′7″, but I am calling bullshit. There’s no way. Christina Ricci is a fucking midget, and he just barely stands taller than her. This guy is 5′4″.

I hear you on the looking nerdy thing but watch the movie “Into the Wild” and you will fall in love with this guy. He is extremly sexy in the movie. Trust me on this one.

mostly because he got REALLY skinny, he is underweight…not sure if he still is now. He had to for the movie “Into the Wild” so as of late, his head looks huge cuz his body is so small.
She is wearing heels too though.. take that into account.
Have you seen him in Lords of Dogtown? Not a great movie, but in the end he like shaves his head and gets all badass, it’s pretty sweet.
I’m not one for short guys (I’m 5′9″), but as long as I don’t have to stand next to them it’s all good, I can love.

Emile is in fact 5′6″ by his own admission. He is often self-depreciating about his height. In a recent interview, he said of his co-star, Christina; “she’s one of the few people in the world that I am taller than.” :)

He’s got geek feet. Ugh, I worked in a place that was full of computer engineers, they all stand that way. I believe there is a geek gene. They all have that bad walk (not heel-toe but they walk on the balls of their feet), they usually have geek eyes and they stand pigeon toed (or reverse pigeon toed). You can take them to Hugo Boss, dress them up nice, get a good haircut but there will still be something off.
Height doesn’t bother me. I’m 5′6″, I don’t care if a guy is 5′6″, I’m still going to wear heels. But of course I’m married so I guess it’s all completely a moot point.

He’s not over 5′4” at all! I actually got a chance to meet him not too long ago at a bar in San Francisco. He is adorable in person, but lacks in the height department. I am a short girl myself, barely making 5′4” and he was my height or a bit shorter. I was actually very surprised!

yeah watch The Girl Next Door and your mind will be immediately changed. he plays a nerd, yes, but a hugely awesome and attractive one at that. And he buffed up gooood for Into The Wid. not nerdy at all.
Lords Of Dogtown he is also quite good. Although I am not a fan of him when he has long hair I still did enjoy him in this and think he looked quite good.
Looks aside he i still an amazing actor.
Over all, i recommend Into The Wild if you are not yet in love with him.

It doesn’t matter how tall he is.He’s still a cute.The appeal here besides just looks is that this guy seems completely humble and relatable,not all glitz and glam.It also doesn’t hurt that he’s completely talented and if you’ve ever watched some of his interviews pretty amusing too!

Seriously ppl, hello!?@? we’re all missing the point…there are a lot of good looking actors but can they act?!?!? Emile happens to be a great up and coming actor. I AM so tired of ppl obsessed with looks. Hilary Duff is pretty but that doesn’t make her a goos actress. the same applies to like justin timberlake doesn’t make him a good actor! I’d rather watch him on screen and no he is going to give 100% then some of crap stuff these people have been putting out. not too mention that he is extremely down to earth, not snobby, superficial.
