Sex & The City Theme Song: “Labels or Love” by Fergie

Here’s a first listen to Fergie’s “Labels or Love,” the theme song for the upcoming SATC movie.
It kind of plays on the original theme song. Except that the original theme song is way, way, way better. Namely, because Fergie isn’t singing over it. Wow, this song really sucks. It’s nauseating. I’m listening to it as I write this, and I just hate it on all new levels as it continues. Okay, I’m muting my computer now. I can’t handle any more. Listen at your own risk, you guys.

Fergie *sigh* Maybe this song was a flashback to of one of your crystal meth phases after Wild Orchard. The ironic thing about Fergie doing the theme song for STC is that she really is a 30 something trying to look like she’s 20. You’re not fooling anyone! Fergalicious? No this song is a Fergadon’t.
Fergie makes me want to chew my ears off. How dreadful…. BAAAAAD move!! What a dreadful techno-mid-nineties piece of crap. I just hate it hate it hate it. An awful theme tune! I just can’t get over how dreadful it is and wondering what on earth possessed them to choose that skanky crackwhore?!!!! She’s just a vile, back end of a bus, common piece of trash. Yuck. I’m going to tell all my friends now and ruin their days too. Thanks for alerting us to this beet – will turn up 2 minutes late to the movie when it comes own! You’ve done us a service!!!

I agree about the movie…. I thought it was the dumbest idea to make a movie out of this show. I was a big fan for a while but then it just got old and got on my nerves. And all their lameness got lamer as the show went on.
It is comforting to know that even Fergie can count to four. I can’t stop listening to it, it’s morbid attraction… I just can’t believe how awful it is…

ughh why does fergie sound so icky? i saw her perform on idol gives back and she was actually singing normally and had a good voice. and then she goes and sings like this…gross. i love sex and the city though, so i really hope the rest of the movie is entertaining…

That is the dumbest hack song EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who would Pay to go see SATC as a movie, it was hard enough paying for it on satellite, actually I was paying for other channels, HBO was just in the pkg. so I watched SATC .
The song is vile and boring and annoying and it does stay in your head, like the sound of a mosquito does.
SATC is the most perfect show ever made. Perfect.
Which makes making a movie of it dicey.

Eeeeeeek!! This has got me a bit worried as to what’s to come and I am so looking forward to the movie – have a hideous feeling I’m going to be disappointed – I hope not!!!! They should have used the original tune – would get the audiences off to a great start.
i cannot stand fergie. her face looks like the joker from batman and her voice is just painful to listen to. ick! as far as the movie….i liked the first few seasons of the show but i thought the last season sucked so i don’t have high hopes for the movie.
im a huge fan of sex and the city. i have every ep on dvd and watch it a billion times. it wont be the same sex and the city we all know with a different theme song. there already turning it into a movie. keep the old theme song so we can relate to it.
