The only thing relevant to the situation was that he had extramarital relationships while in the oval office. As far as I am concerned when it comes down to it he did the job he was elected to do and he did it so well he rewarded himself. His wife and family are the only ones he owes any apology to and the moral reprecussions of his behavior are between him and God.

As for G. Dub’s low ratings, it’s probably because the show’s ratings are declining anyway and barely anyone paid attention to the fact he was going to be on.

With Brittney everyone is following her every step and we all knew she was going to be on HIMYM from the moment the idea popped into CBS’s head. Everyone wanted to see if she could pull it off, that’s why we watched.

Everyone knows the president is capable of making a 30 second appearance as himself on a game show via satelite. It was a nice thing for him to do, but seriously there was no reason to believe it was going to be anything special. It was special for the soldier but no biggie for the audience, that’s why no one watched.

I don’t understand why “conservatives,” ie, the Right, label anyone who doesn’t support W as “liberal” and then go on to equate this with being unpatriotic. Just because someone doesn’t wear an American flag lapel pin, or drive around with a flag bumper sticker on the back of their Ford Excursion doesn’t mean they don’t love America. That is completely parenthetical, and is used by the Conservative elite to distract the everyman from what the REAL issues are. Sheep, sheep, sheep!

Anyone who thinks that the policies of this Administration haven’t had an impact on our economy needs to wake up and smell the bullshit that they have been fed! I appreciate the diatribe about “taking responsibility for your own finances,” and generally I agree; however, this argument loses alot of its impact coming from supporters of an administration that have financed an immoral war (which most Americans are AT BEST ambivalent about) by putting the tab on the national “credit card.” Make no mistake, people- we had to go to such beacons of economic and social freedom like China to foot the bill for the Iraq debacle. Anyone who thinks that our economy has not and will not suffer from a conflict that is expected to run in the TRILLIONS needs to get a clue. Our children’s grandchildren will be paying this bill, and will be responsible for taking care of the poor KIDS who are coming home from war and will need lifetime care.

You want to support our troops and their families? BRING THEM HOME. MAKE SURE THEY CAN BUY BASIC NEEDS AND SERVICES. EDUCATE THEIR CHILDREN. Stop voting for assholes you would like to have a barbecue and a beer with, and vote for someone who will do a good job running our country! Stop fucking up America for the rest of us! Feel free to go to Crawford with W and cede from the Union. We’ll miss you, good luck.

George W. Bush has stolen my country. He is the world’s most dangerous person. Laughing over his malapropisms may be fun, but the sad truth is that hundreds, thousands of people are dying because of his direct actions.

And while I am at it, a disproportionate number of under educated, lower income teenagers are being recruited to go and die in Iraq – this has become an invasion fought by wealthy men who can buy poorer men/women to stand and die in their place.
