Oh, So NOW People Magazine Decides to Make a Big Deal Over Lindsay Lohan’s Drinking

After I made a huge fuss last night about how People magazine reported Lindsay Lohan’s wagon-tumbling adventures without even batting an eyelash, the mainstream mag decided, today, that they probably oughtta make a fuss themselves.
In an article posted early this afternoon, People writers say:
Is Lindsay Lohan back to her hard-partying ways? The actress – who completed a stint in Cirque Lodge rehab last September – is raising eyebrows again after she was spotted on Saturday drinking Grey Goose and Red Bull cocktails at a party deejayed by pal Samantha Ronson. Lohan, 21, smoked cigarettes, chatted with friends and hit the dance floor at Hawaiian Tropic Zone in New York as Ronson spun tunes until 4 a.m.
Lohan’s rep was not immediately available for comment.
So, okay, that’s something, at least.

She may also have been breaking the law. Unless the HTZ has been designated as a hookah bar, a cigar bar, or Linds was smokin’ cancer sticks outside (or under some crappy outdoor canopy), cigarette smoking in NYC bars, and virtually all other interior public spaces, is illegal.
Where there’s Ronson, there’s blow. Trust.

It’s interesting – it went from she imbibed of grey goose and red bull, to she drank nonstop all night, to she was falling down drunk. The last was from The Sun which quoted People which never said that. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. There’s footage of her and Ronson walking home after they exited their vehicle and she doesn’t look one bit drunk. The best somebody could get was a tired Lohan (who has been getting more and more annoyed at paparazzi) covering her eyes. I think she had a drink (not good) and the rest is pure theatre by the media. What nonsense. She does not need to be at clubs – I agree on that. But lets keep what is called perspective. The media already fell for a fake sex tape hoax a few weeks ago.
