A very pregnant Cate Blanchett shows off her curves at the Sydney premiere of The Year of Magical Thinking.
I read this book, by Joan Didion, at a difficult time in my life, and I just adored it. I saw this photo and I was like “My God! I had no idea they were making it into a movie!”
But it’s actually a play.
I am such a twenty-something.
Anyway, I love that Cate’s just rocking the preggers look.

Aw, c’mon…..Cate looks wonderful! On the other hand, I am praying the little one doesn’t look like the baby daddy.
the play premiered on Broadway awhile back with Vanessa Redgrave in the Joan Didion role.

Aaw, she looks so adorable.
To the real mercedes: Why is she supposed to look hot? Is it her job to look hot at all times? She’s pregnant; get over it. Maybe her dress is a little too see-through for the flash photography but otherwise she’s dressed appropriately — and she’s happy. Looks perfect to me.
