I would like to first apologies for my spelling it is very bad and my spell check smokes with corrections .

Let me say that any killing by gun knife or other method is terrible, and we as humans should do what we can to stop it. However banning guns is not the way to solve the problem.

Can I point out that recently a 11 year old killed two adult men that had broken in to her home when her parents were away she protected herself. By the way they were armed I wish I could site the detail but my memory fails me on this but check out the N R A site and I think you can find many examples of this.

Do you think that power hungry people do not exist in this country? Look at the news on any night and you will see countries all over the world were the military is the only one with guns and there are mass killing by the military. Look for the countries that do not enjoy the freedom that we have and you will find that the people are not armed. We are losing it little at a time day by day by well meaning people that govern with there owned self interest at hart.

As a small boy I ember seeing a news report a film from china were the army rounded up a hole village huddled them into a group then would just pick one out of the crowd bind there hands push then to there kneaded placer a large fan that looked like a father in there shirt then shoot then in the back of the head men women young old it did not matter one after the other this I have rebreed all my life.

When I was young there was murders but there was no mass shooting at schools, malls, post offices, workplaces,churches or sporting events.

If you look you can see is simple as the nose on your face these people today that do this things are 1 mostly in to drugs 2 younger than 55 years old 3 came from a generation of people that were deprived from a balanced education. These are the people that have been educated without being thought the 10 commencements and I think that one of them said though sail not kill, if you here this every day for 12 years you have a tendency to be leave.

Maybe you should look deeper into the problem before you allow yourself to be lulled into a country more like those that you see on t v.

please research all angles of the issue be fore you make up your mind do not allow me or anyone to influence your decision without the knowledge that you knead to make a judgment on this or any other matter. This is the only we can keep this country FREE knowledge is power. Empower yourself.

Who cares, his daughter is no more important then many kids killed. And Why didnt he have custody of his kid. Now all of a sudden its a big deal cause she dead.

The people on here really need to get a life if you really think that the author is using “awesome” as a term of excitement. I like mambas response. You can take it as the literal meaning, but in this society awesome denotes a happy or excited feeling. That is what everyone is getting pissed about. I personally enjoyed how this started with that word. We are so desensitized as a society(just watch the daily news) that seeing or hearing about this poor little girl getting shot is not shocking. You can feel bad for the girl and her family, but don’t attack the person for saying awesome.
It is a common way of dealing with these terrible things we see on a daily basis. It is awesome(sarcastically), and I laugh every time I hear someone got shot or OD’d or drowned while trying to save their cat in a river…or some dumb shit like that. Now that 17 year old will not become a drug dealer or mass murderer by being locked up for a long time. Just sucks an innocent kid had to pay the ultimate price. At least now she will remain innocent forever, to whoever knew her. We should all be so lucky to not have to live in this terrible world and be put down at a young age. Everyone at some point wishes they were never born or would just die for whatever reason. Fuck this world. Awesome!

The shooter was her 17 year old son. He did this on purpose, and I’m pretty sure he could have gotten a gun from a number of places, not just at home. That’s one difference between America and other places. It’s sad.
