There’s Hope for This Country Yet

Paris Hilton’s new flick, The Hottie and the Nottie, brought in only $26,000 in 111 theaters during its opening weekend.

Still not quite as awful as Jessica Simpson’s Blonde Ambition, but really not good. Not good at all.

Did anyone actually see it or did Paris just pony up the cash so her flick would be better received than Jessica Simpleton?

Did I read that correctly; $26,000.00 or did you mean 26 million from 111 theaters?

    I need clarity!

Kem. It was $26,000 on 111 screens. That is approx. $225 per theater or 30 people per venvue. She did better with her porn tape!

A lot of people think Paris Hilton is a talented actress, singer, philanthropist, and self-made woman. Oh, by ‘a lot’ of people I actually mean Paris Hilton.

Glad to see that the Letterman interview helped her box office results. The movie’s producers probably spent more money flying Paris Hilton around to promote the movie (and of course party, live large, etc.) than they recouped at the box office. Looks like Paris Hilton lost the big weekend box office showdown with Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey.

Perhaps Paris Hilton’s mother thinks that she is a talented actress. The rest of us are not amused.

i think the casting people got mixed up on who is the hottie and who is the nottie.
