The movie really wasn’t about 9/11; it was about the search for a kidnapped American journalist in Pakistan who ended up getting beheaded. Nevertheless, you’re right, no one saw it because… well, yeah, the depression factor.

You are a jackass. It had alot to do with 9/11. Daniel Pearl was a journalist over there BECAUSE of September 11th. And she was NOT fabulous. Actually, Daniel Pearl had been in Pakistan since the Afghani invasion, and was investigating Talibani presence and extremism in Pakistan. In fact, I know MY facts, Leslie Ann. And we can agree to disagree on Ms. Jolie’s performance, but it was well better than a fake tan and some contact lenses.
I am so tired of dumbasses that think Al Quaeda and the Taliban are synonymous.
BTW, if you bothered to watch the movie, you’d also know that it does end on a positive note, and it is a appeal to end the violence and inhumanity. It was gripping, and I stick by my original vote that is was the performance of the year. Way better than some unfunny wisecracks (Juno).
