After stating publicly that it was her New Years resolution to quit smoking, Katherine Heigl made it nearly three weeks without being photographed with a cigarette.
The paps caught her last night, though, cigarette in hand as she returned to her midtown hotel in NYC.

She said, “hopefully” that she would quit in the new year, not that she would quit.

She better try a little harder next time. Maybe see a doctor and try Chantix or Zyban if she really is trying to quit.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I am on chantix my 5th day… and I gotta say… I kinda am not stressing about not smoking. I take my chantix, when I feel the need I pop my generic CVS nicotine gum and I am good til the next craving. YEA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was photographed smoking a ciggie in her car a couple of weeks ago. Maybe the first week of January…
It’s a tough gig quitting those things, though.
