Jaden Smith Strikes Again!

Will Smith’s son has landed a role in Fox’s remake of the sci-fi thriller “The Day the Earth Stood Still.”
Jaden Smith will play Jacob, the rebellious 8-year-old stepson of scientist Helen Benson (Jennifer Connelly) who first makes contact with the humanoid alien Klaatu (Keanu Reeves).
Jaden is 9 years old.
How old was Drew Barrymore when she first started drinking? 11 or so? Somebody get this kid to the bars! We’ve got a budding star on our hands!

What does his parents’s sexuality have to do with how they raise him? Who they have sex with is their business, right? Did your parents sit you down and go over their sexcapades when you were 9? Probably not. I think Will and Jada are great parents. I have nothing but respect for them. Their kids seem grounded and very well-mannered. You guys need to lay off the sauce.

I beleive that Jaden would be a great assett to any tv show or film .He has a successful mother and father please people lets stay postive about our youth and encourage them . I ask in your name father to protect Jaden and watch over him and his family BE BLESSED

I’m leary about anyone who would put there kids in this business. Even though this is second nature for them growing up with their parents and friends parents on movie sets. I would want my kids to have as “normal” a childhood as possible. Once they become 18 they can do what they want.

@ crapstie, you are so right!! That little boy already has a bad attitude. I saw a 60 Minutes piece on Will Smith and the “I Am Legend” movie and during the filming they talked to his family and that little boy is a mess. Rude and obnoxious little snotty nosed shit!!! And goofy Will just stands there and laughs at everything this little boys says. He doesn’t realize he’s creating a monster. Too bad because Will seems like a wonderful person but his son…..Jeez, Good luck Will and Jada coz you’re going to need it. Now the little sister, Willow, seems very sweet. I saw her on Oprah and she is adorable. She must have taken after Will.

I saw some of those interviews…I think Will laughed because Jaden was being funny, his family does have a pretty good sense of humor maybe he inherited that. At least on the interview I saw for example the interviewer asks “How do you feel sharing the spotlight with your sister?” He says “It’s ok, I do have most of the spotlight though” and they all laugh. Kind of remids me of when Will and Jada hosted the BET awards a while back and the promo commercial for it showed the whole family “filming” the commercial the all smile, then it cuts and all of the kids are being arrogant and making their demands after the cameras “stop rolling”- Willow says “I’ll be in the limo!”. It was funny. But…thats just my opinion of course, I think they are adorable!

Has anyone taken the time to stop and read what you are writing. You guys are on here talking about this kid as if he was a grown man. He is a 9 year old little boy. I think that it is awesome that God has blessed this little one with the talents that he has. I don’t know the Smith family personally and I am sure none of you do. So, I don’t see how anyone can make comments about their private lives or how they or raising their kids. I believe that they are doing what they think is right and it is really none of our business. I think that other people are jealous and when they see someone doing well (regardless of their race) they began to hate and in the end it will consume you
