So much for my little mental health day. This was not the news I needed.
He was only 25.
Renfo had struggled with drug and alcohol abuse issues in the past.
The star of The Client was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment, where he’d spent the night with friends.
Drug overdose is “obviously it’s a possibility considering his history, but right now all we have is the history of his drinking the previous night,” says Craig Harvey, chief investigator for the Los Angeles county coroner. “All that we have is that he was last known to be alive during the morning hours and he was snoring.”

i just kept hoping this wasnt true. but really why did he need to die?? I loved this guy he was such a great actor. you will be missed…
So, I didnt know who he was and I put him in on IMDB.com search and was scrolling the movies and came across the movie “Bully”…my jaw fell open, my boyfriend was JUST telling me about this movie last night, I was like wow, thats crazy. Had to call him of course.

Yeah, could not fucking believe it when I heard. This really sucks, that’s all I can say. I’ve liked him for a very long time, awesome actor & awesome to look at ;) All of his movies were great.

I felt like I got hit in the gut when I read this! I was so hoping he’d get cleaned up and bless us all with his talent once again! It’s so weird to have a childhood crush die so young and unexpectedly. Rest now sweet Brad!

FUCKFUCKFUCK! NO! Brad Renfro was one of my childhood crushes (fell in love with as young Michael in “Sleepers”) besides Jonathan Brandis who committed suicide in 2003. Fuck, fuck, fuck. I’m sorry, but I’m so bleeping sad right now.

Jonathan Brandis is dead?!! I watched that horrible movie “Ladybugs” like 1,000 times just to see him dressed as a chick!!
I read this and came damn close to crying. I fell in love with him in the movie “Huck & Finn”. Now he’s gone I’m really upset. I just got done watching Dueces Wild and crying. So, so sad. My heart goes out to his family.
Met Brad at an old pad of mine. Wayyy back then I was a strung out Nut …he was just “dabbleing” and of course has now come to this 9 years later. I now have 9 years sober and a 9 year old and 5 year old. Both girls. It was gonna happen to me until I changed.
This country needs to help it’s dying population!

I simply adored Brad Renfro in all his Movies. I would watch the client over and over and over again just to see him. I am 25 as well .
It was like growing up with your favourite actor. He always did great movies that I either relate d to or just enjoyed.
This is sooo sad.
I also loved Jonathan Brandis and he died too :(

it was a sad day when i heard about brad….i loved him in “the cure”.it was a good movie..after i heard he died that night he was on law and order ci, it was so good and i cried cause i knew he wasn’t going to be doing anymore stuff……i love you brad
i was very sad when i heard of brad dying i heard it the day it happend on e news it was very sad, i knew brad as a friend in knoxville, tn we weren’t all that close but, we knew one another for a little while but, he will be truely missed
