This little strike here is going to ruin the rest of this television season, and probably next season, too.

Four major studios have just canceled dozens of writers’ contracts, in a possible concession that the current television season cannot be saved, the LA Times reported Tuesday.

If you’re one of those people who’s all like, “Ewww, I hate reality TV,” you’d best get over that, sweetheart. It’s going to be reality TV and game shows 24/7.

    Bugger.
Yep, there goes this season, at the very least. Not to mention, it’s terrible for all those people who aren’t getting paid.

Beet – I wish I knew! They need a good kick up their collective arse.

Don’t watch the reality shows. As long as people will watch that crap, they’ll show it. But if no one is watching, they’ll start negotiating. Already it’s showing how bad they need writers. Hopefully the Oscars will have to be cancelled.

Oh, and can you get rid of that porn ad on the right? I work in an open area and… ew….

I’ve been wondering about that porn banner on the right too. Thought it would go away after a while.
