Who the Hell Is Trying to Take Photos of Bjork?

I guess in other countries, people still care about Bjork, as she attacked a newspaper photographer shortly after she arrived at New Zealand’s Auckland International Airport on Sunday.
“I took a couple of pictures … and as I turned and walked away she came up behind me, grabbed the back of my black skivvy (T-shirt) and tore it,” said the photog. “As she did this, she fell over, she fell to the ground,” he said. “At no stage did I touch her or speak with her.”
Is Bjork a bigger deal overseas? I can’t remember anyone in the US caring about her for years. Overseas readers, weigh in!

I’ll go see bjork at the Big Day Out (reason she’s in NZ) if there is nothing better to do at the time cuz she’s weird and amusing, but i don’t care for pictures of her. It’s not like photographers here are particularly fierce, she’s probably just insane.
Um..her music is incredible..not enough? Ah, of course…it isnt pop. How could I forget the magical relationship we have with our mainstream media…
She’s not all that popular here (in NZ), her music doesn’t get played on the radio at all.
I’ve been a fan of hers in the past, I’m not sure why the paparazzi were taking photos of her though. I’m not sure anyone in this country really cares..

Firstly, in no way did I say she had no talent, don’t get your panties in a bunch.
Secondly, I say the radio because it usually indicates what music is popular at a particular moment in time, doy. It’s an easy way to tell what people in one country are attracted to as a whole.

Bjork is not pop or mainstream rock so the radio doesn’t play her. Her music is too weird for an average person driving on the road. Only alternative or psychedelic music listeners knows her and likes her. Radiohead listeners might like her. American radios, even many alternative music stations doesn’t play her either. That’s why she’s not popular and Kelly Clarkson is popular. But she’s one hell of a talented artist.

Her themes/genre are similar to Radiohead. That’s why she’s not popular but Rihanna is popular. Also it depends on the country’s pop culture. In Singapore, alternative music is not too well known among the general public but the UK is famous for avant-garde tunes (Radiohead/Pink Floyd).

I heard that the reporter had been annoying her for a few days. And Bjork is gorgeous. Whoever thinks Bjork is ugly probably thinks some ugly hillbilly like Britney Spears is pretty. Ew. Britney Spears is ugly and fat and talentless and makes me want to puke. I don’t know how anyone could like her. But I love Bjork. She’s got more talent than… Anyone that will EVER go on this shitty website.

Why make fun of her? She is clearly making more money in one year than you or I will make in a lifetime. She is weird, hard to explain, and sometimes just plain out there, but what normal boring person makes it out there in the strange world of the celebrities? She is not boring or trying to be something she is not, that makes her different. Go ahead and criticize it, it does not matter anyway.
Bjork is beautiful and talented. Get a life. Or listen to “America is not the World” by Morrisey.
