Club Sandwiches, Not Seals
It’s not that I disagree with the sentiment — Do people still club seals these days? Really? Why? — it’s just that, you know, I wouldn’t put it on a sweatshirt. And I don’t like club sandwiches. But I don’t like clubbed seals, either. In fact, I’m only indifferent on the matter of unclubbed seals. So whatever.
But far be it from me to disagree with Rumer Willis. She kinda got fucked when the Golden Globes got canceled — she was Miss Golden Globes this year, which is reason enough to cancel the damn thing, if you ask me — so I’m gonna go easy on her about this.

Yes, seals are annually clubbed in Canada. This year, the “clubbers” are hoping to kill 270,000 seals.

Ok, I know that you are all going to hate me for this but…
I am from Newfoundland, Canada, where they hunt seals. They are generally shot, not clubbed. Also, at least they are not farmed and get to live some sort of normal life, unlike farm animals. It is a hunting industry. Like fishing.

Club sandwiches have meat in them too, idiots. How is that any better than seal meat. I am from Newfoundland, where there is a seal hunting industry and most of them are shot, not clubbed. So they are cuter that turkeys.

Also from Newfoundland and let me say that seals are tastey and also warm. Seal skin boots are alot more ecologically friendly than the the vegan alternatives which are not biodegradable. Once i am done with my sealskin boots I can put them in the compost. woo

I’ve seen videos of the seal hunt on youtube and could see very
clearly that the seals are clubbed!
