Tragically, she’s wearing a big ole sweatshirt, so you can’t see the bump, but there does appear to be some weight gain here.
These pics were taken on Friday, the same day Brit was admitted to the hospital with a raging case of crazy.
Jamie’s carrying a GED study book — looks like someone’s looking to skip out on the rest of high school.

I think it’s bad timing because as a young mother myself (had my daughter at 19) I know how hard it will be. Truth is though, whether we think it or not… GOD himself has a plan for Jamie and that baby of hers. We all have made mistakes but it’s not our place to judge her or anyone else in her situation. It’s His! I wish her the best and hope she gets the support and love from her family that I got.

Anyone who says that she should get an abortion are inconsiderate. Abortions are sick and wrong. If you don’t want a baby don’t have sex with someone. And if you do happen to get pregnant then put it up for adoption when you have it. Don’t take your mistake out on your baby. The baby IS alive when it’s growing inside the womb, i don’t care what anyone says. The process of an abortion is absolutely horrific and sick, no one, especially a baby who is defenseless, deserves that. It doesn’t matter if you got raped and got pregnant…PUT IT UP FOR ADOPTION. Give it a chance to live. Its sad that someone could be that selfish to have an abortion.
i think that you really need to think about what your doing. i mean carrying around a kid is a big joice and when you have the baby it is going to need you more than ever so why waste your time partying while your my is gone and think about what is best for the baby that is inside of your womb. and the girl before me is right let the kid inside of you have a chance to grow up but at the same time let it grow up in a christain atmosphere and do not make it suffer through the things that the world has to offer you and the baby inside you let it grow because one day you will want to see your child grow up to become a very well respected son or daughter and you will want to see it from the things that you taught your children but not by what the world taught them.

I pearsonally think that Jamie Lynn shouldn’t be watched like she is a bug under a microscope. Just give her some space. If shes smart, she’ll realize that she should have waited till she’s married to have sex.
You parents out there who act like you are just SOOOOOO devastated over her pregnancy really need to get a life! Do you guys feel that it is so terrible because she has a TV show, she’s 16 or because teen pregnancy is pretty normal now a days??? Those of you who have kids need to realize that telling them not to watch Zoey 101 is not going to keep them from having sex/getting pregnant! If you don’t want your sons and daughters seeing pregnant teens then don’t let them breathe the air outside and certainly don’t let them watch TV at all? If anything, this should be the time when parents sit down and talk to their kids about sex and the consequences of being a young mother. Shielding your child does not protect them from anything, it just makes matters worse. And no, I do not think that she should get an abortion either, her baby did not ask to be conceived and certainly should have the chance to live. If she had had an abortion all of you would have been on her back about her being young and irresponsible anyway!!
PS-I’m 19 years old and I got pregnant at the age of 16 by my first love and had my son when i was 17. My mother never let me go anywhere or do anything with my friends. I wasn’t allowed to be a teen! When it comes to sex my mother always told me I could talk to her about anything but then she would flip out on me anyway so I didn’t tell her when I did start having sex. I tried to be responsible and got on birth control pills, only I was young and I didn’t have an adult to talk about it to. When I got sick, I took antibiotics which weakened my birth control and I got pregnant. The funny thing about it is that my mother got pregnant the same way and had she been a better and more understanding mother, we would have talked about it and it would have never happened! But it is very hard but I finished high school, I have a great job, I’m married and I don’t depend on anyone to help us out. But every story does not always end that way…there are always teen mothers on Maury trying to get these men to help take care of their child
It makes you wonder…and think twice about letting your kids become celebs. You have to still remain a parent eventhough your kids are making grown up money. This has got to be what happened to this family and many alike. Its like the “money” blinds them. They buy or are given only us can dream of…then become distant from parents and spiral down hill until they are either dead or mental unstable…let’s not foreget the paparazzi and media…they hold the nails to the coffin. Maybe if you spent a little more time talking to them about it then there wouldn’t be so many teens getting pregnant. You can’t hide the real world from your kids. I dont think anyone should be blaming Jamie Lynn Spears’ mom for what happend. She can’t be watching her daughter 24/7. Thats obviously impossible, the only thing Lynn Spears could do is just have a talk with Jamie Lynn about sex and how it would be better to wait and I have no doubt that she had that talk with her before she starting having sex. Jamie Lynn made her own decision to have premarital sex and look what happend. Don’t blame the parent, blame the kid.
I dont think it is right that children should be having children but when that situation falls into a childs lap, they need to take responsibility for it which is why I am very happy that Jamie Lynn made the right decision to keep the baby, it shows responsibility which also shows maturaty. I honestly think she is lucky, because she has a boyfriend who is staying with her through this all, he didn’t just abandon her, and she has supporting family and friends. Most people in her situation aren’t that lucky.
We dont live in a perfect world obviously, its unrealistic for kids not to have sex, admit it or not. There are some kids out there who have sex for attention and it makes them feel good about themselves, or they’re curious about it, and then there’s peer pressure.
I feel very sorry for her right now, just because she is famous, people have their eye on her more than anyone. She is just like anyone else, and just like everyone else she makes mistakes to. She didnt ask anyone to look at her as a role model. Role Models dont exist, those who seem perfect just are better at hiding their flaws.

Well , what she did was wrong , but she’s only human. Hey ! now she and her sister can go to counseling together. Jamie is so like her sister it’s scarry! They both need as much help they could get. If anything, I do think that it’s a good thing that people are addressing her situation. Parents are most likely talking to their kids more about sex and how they should wait.
