The O.C. native has established the Gwen Stefani After-the-Fires Scholarship (Are those hyphens really necessary? Discuss.), which will be available to graduating high school seniors and college students whose families either lost their homes or source of income in the huge San Diego fires.

I have to admit, when she first hit the scene, I hated Gwen Stefani. Just couldn’t stand the bitch. But she’s grown on me. She seems to have mellowed with age, and this is very cool of her, even if it is also a huge tax write-off.

Katie Cassidy — who turned 21 late last month — showed up to the Foley + Corinna Los Angeles store opening, along with Nicky Hilton, Kristen Cavallari and, my personal fave, Marla Sokoloff (Remember when she was on Full House? Anyone?).

Katie was arrested for underage drinking last month, just days before her 21st birthday.

I cannot wait to see what happens with this girl now that she’s legal.

Brit-Brit will be grilled on Wednesday by K-Fed’s attorney, the now-ubiquitous Mark Vincent Kaplan.

It’s expected that Britney will be grilled about her past drug and alcohol use, her alleged failure to follow court orders, and anything that reveals whether she’s a fit mother.

Tragically, they’re not letting cameras into the deposition, but I assume at least the transcript will leak.

I’m sure that’s not his real name, but this character actor has been working steadily for 15 years (Boyz in the Hood, anyone?) and now has a starring role in The Perfect Holiday.

I guess his (fake) name is fitting, because he’s absolutely edible!!!

This is a woman who’s really managed to age gracefully.

I’d be remiss in my duties if I didn’t mention that she’s put on some weight — and, look, before you guys get all mad at me in the comments, let me say that Julia Roberts weighs less than I do, but this is a gossip blog and she’s a celebrity and this is America and we care about these things here even if we’re not always willing to admit it and if anyone walked into a casting agency for the first time at that weight they’d tell them to come back 15 pounds lighter, and I’d feel like I didn’t deserve my paycheck if I didn’t point that out.

And if you all wanna cuss me out in the comments for saying that, fine, let’s do that, because I think an open conversation about female body standards in this country is crucial, and I’m just going to go ahead and say what everyone else is thinking so at least it’s out there and we can talk about it. So go.

That said, she still looks stunning. Julia Roberts will look stunning when she’s 85, and I hope to look one-tenth as good as she does when I’m her age and a mother.

(But she’s put on weight.)
