Leona Lewis won the most recent season of Britain’s Pop Idol, and this is her debut single.
Also: does anyone know where I can find a video of Liz Phair’s “H.W.C.”? I’m obsessing over that song lately, too, and I want to run it on here, but I can’t find a damn video with the song in it.

I love the simple beat, the focus on her voice and the fact that its not an overproduced digitalised piece of shit song about being a dirty slut and having sex with everyone. Like most songs nowadays are.

i hate this song with the burning intensity of a thousand desert suns. It’s SO over played and it was no. 1 for like EVER. I was dying. And yeah it was X-Factor not Pop Idol, Pop Idol stopped like 4/5 years ago? It’s all tacky programming anyway. They all sound like eachother and become nobodys. I can’t stand it.
I like this song, it is actually the first time I have heard it. I kinda thought it reminded me of Shinead O’Connor at first. I know that is very random but oh well…

God I hate this song SO much. It is just so overplayed. I reckon Leona has the most annoying voice ever. Sounds like my little cousin whining.
Hopefully this song will be forgotten about soon and we’ll never have to edure the agony of listening to it again!
I have to ask, are my 2 friends and I the only people who think this song sound like it’s 20-30 years old? It’s got something to do with the drums, I know it.
