I saw the movie and feel it should have gotten an X-rating instead of R for violence. Definitely not for the kiddies or those easily influenced to violence. Murder, canabalism, wanton violence, misanthropy, revenge gone wrong... what more could one ask for during the Christmas season.? Even Shakespeare would enjoy this movie. I love Depp as an actor and he did a great job but this movie was too much for me - especially the gratutitous throat slashing. Truly bizarre.
