People seem to complain about Timbaland, but lets face it, everything he’s touched, from Justin’s album to Nelly’s album, and all the way through HIS own album has turned PLATINUM. People are buying and requesting to hear his stuff, so stfu. :P
Madonna can sell millions WORLDwide by HERSELF. Great example: her last album, Confessions On A Dance Floor only sold 1.5mil in the States, however, it went to sell over 12million worldwide!! To put that into perspective, Fergie’s The Dutchess, contained 3 number 1 hits(US), but only sold 6million albums worlwide… half as many as Madonna’s.
So, if Madonna can do that by herself, without mainstreem production, think of what she can do when she recruits Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Pharrel, Akon, Kanye West, and many more.
We can’t really judge the latest leak, since we haven’t heard a high-quality version. But, for anybody to think her new album is gunna be crap, think about this for a second; Timbaland, and Timberlake wouldn’t be caught putting their names on something that was trully crap. They just wouldn’t do that. It would destroy their careers. So, I think we’re guarenteed a HOTT album from Madonna very soon.

OK guys lets get real, Madonna always makes great albums, this is the reason why “she” not Janet is getting into the rock and roll hall of fame this year, Janet never even got a nod. Lets also be real, Janet is all 100% vocal recorder she can’t sing live and she has used Michaels fame to make a career for herself, if not for Michael there would be no Janet. Madonna started from below the bottom and basically homeless and according the the IFPI has sold a staggering 350 million albums worldwide and this makes her the second best selling artist in history and by far the #1 female artist, NO one has more #1 singles on the United World Chart than Madonna, “NO ONE!” Even by decades Madonna has more #1 singles on the World Chart than anyone! And guess what not even Elvis comes close to Madonna’s single sucess on the World Chart. Even being banned by radio in the USA has not stopped Madonna from moving a decent amount of albums here and if you go by “SALES” on Billboards sales chart she has 36 #1 selling singles in the USA far more than any other female artist, she just gets screwed by radio over her views, sad but all true.
Madonna is a living legend and she redefined the word Icon years ago, Janet is just another pop tart wanna be riding in on her brothers fame she can’t sing , she lips her concerts all she can really do well is dance and pick a great producer to give her decent singles. Anyone here think Janet could have pulled off “Evita”? Of course not she would have been laughed off the sound stage. If Janet was all that she would like Josh said be in the hall of fame this year, even the UK hall of fame selected “MADONNA” as a founding member, the only female artist on the list. The song sounds great from what I can hear..looking fwd to hearing in better quality as well as the rest of the album….Madonna never fails to suprise me..just when you count her out…..I can’t say that I am impressed with Janet’s comeback attempt..the song “Feedback ” is very repetitive and too reminiscent of stuff she has done in the past…Janet needs to stop playing it so safe and take risks like Madonna. Also looking forward to what mariah has in store .
Personally, I think no one can follow in Madonna’s footsteps. Britney tried but she’s failing. Christina was shunned by the media but she was supposed to be the new Queen. Don’t compare Mariah Carey to Madonna because Mariah’s in the R&B world. Both are at the top in their own genres. Kylie Minogue is just a follower. Kelly Clarkson is failing too. I guess no one’s going to be the new Madonna and that’s why I can’t say goodbye to her. Everything she does rocks my world.
I personally think, and this is new for me as I never paid much attention to her til I saw live in wembley… PINK, just might be the next Madonna.. the re-inventions of her sound, looks and pure staging of the shows she puts on… but most importantly, she’s got the attitude to go with it all…

I am not found of the Janet single at all.
The new Mariah is actually pretty good! I have slowly grown to like Mariah although I would never put myself in her fanbase because I don’t attack other artists or would ever like to be called a lamb.
I think Mariah has a good chance at top 10 with that single… Maybe number one … the only reason I think it might not make it is because summer is coming and everyone is coming out of the cage and they want something bold.
I predict “4 minutes” has everything going for it over “Touch My Body”.

OK, for anyone who says that Madonna’s new track sounds like a “reject off Britney’s last album,” you simply aren’t listening. I’ve listened to “Blackout” several times (hell, I even purchased a copy, even though I can’t stand Britney), and not a single track on it sounds anything like this Madonna song. “4 Minutes” is hyper, frenetic and pulsing, while most of the stuff on Brit’s record sounds kind of tame and over-polished. THIS is the song of a true artist. Now Janet’s “Feedback” is DEFINITELY something that sounds like it came right off of Brit’s last record, but Madonna just doesn’t do that kind of thing.
It’s fine if you don’t like Madonna. Nobody says you have to. But if you’re going to let your feelings cloud your judgment, then there’s just no use in participating in this discussion. Be objective. Anyone with ears can hear that there are virtually no similarities musically to anything off “Blackout.” I mean, come on. Really. Sheesh.

Holy crap I just heard the high quality version of the song.. and it’s freaking amazing.
The low quality radio rip.. drowned madonna out. On the high quality both of there voices are the prominant part of the song. It sounds much more like Madonna in the HQ version.
