The members of Green Day are rumored to have formed a 1960s-esque rock ‘n’ roll side project called the Foxboro Hot Tubs.

Does anyone even know what sell out means? It means changing your style of living to make money and to be sold to the media. Did anyone actually listen to words of American Idiot, or just smash it for being a well recorded album that just happened to make it big. If it was a band you really liked and they got covered in fame, you wouldn’t knock them. Green Day used to be the biggest piece of shit band and they built themselves up from the bottom. Also I highly doubt they need money which completly contradict you accusation of saying they are sell outs. Just because a band changes to a bigger label does not make them sell outs. It just means that are like every other life form. They evolve.

Go, Hot Tubs. BTW greenday were never sellouts, just because American Idiot got more air time is nothing to do with it. Listen to the old stuff, its the same, but American Idiot was more from the heart and not just for fun.

Yes, Foxburo Hottubs, is actually Green Day. I love them i have their songs along with Green Days on my Ipod. Their Groups ROCK. I cant wait for their new stuff thats coming out in ‘09. Way to go guys…way to keep Punk alive… I love You Guys!!!

Okay, lets get this straight Green Day aren’t sell-outs to the literal meaning of the work but.. in the world of underground punk as soon as you sign a contract with a major label then you are branded as a sell-out and can’t play in the big punk clubs of CA. Tricky ino ;D xx
