I've always felt it was over-rated and should only be sung in "West Side Story," the show. I'd like to hear Jennifer Hudson sing some soulful power ballads, more in the r & b vein. She could certainly play Aretha, but I'm holding out for an unknown to get the part. Franklin should hit the Baptist churches around the nation. There is an attractive girl of 20 out there that is perfect for the role and can sing her behind off. Find her, Aretha! I thought she did a fine job here. It’s not a great song to sing on its own.
