Blowing up balloons is a great exercise to build diaphragm strength, and she has never tried to conceal the fact that she uses singing exercises to maintain her voice. Aside from the fact that she isn't as young as she was, she damaged her vocal chords years ago and had to completely retrain her voice again. I would imagine that takes work.
