Miley Cyrus turned 15 on Friday!
She celebrated by performing in her hometown of Nashville, TN.
“I’ll tell you guys that my main wish when my parents asked me, ‘Miley, what do you want for your 15th birthday?’ The only thing that I had to say was, ‘I want to be here at home with Nashville and all of you guys,’ ” she breathlessly told the crowd, who erupted into screams.
“The reason that I do what I do is for all of you guys,” she said. “Anyone from a small town can go out there and live their dream, and so to be here with you guys tonight on my birthday is amazing.”
Yes, Miley. Anyone from a small town whose father just happens to be Billy Ray Cyrus can go out there and live their dream. But that’s a minor detail.
Happy birthday, Miley! Can’t wait until you’re 18 and I can say the things I want to say about that fucking dress.

As for the photos that she took, none of them were super bad.

Her phone got hacked. They got on the internet. Everyone made a HUGE deal about something that, if any other 15 year old girl did it, would have been perfectly fine.
But, NOO. She’s Miley and we hate her, so because she did something that a normal person could have done without an issue, it’s all of a sudden a “scandal” and the photos are “racy” and she’s a “slut” and a “skank” and “her dress is ugly” just because you guys don’t like her and she did something as normal as take a few pictures of herself that accidentally got onto the internet.
And I don’t know why you have to wait ’til she’s 18 to say stuff about her dress…I’m not encouraging bashing her, but I just don’t understand. Plenty of other people have bad things to say about her and her clothes and all that, and they’re not holding off.
I know I cant stop you from saying bad things, and I’m not gonna try, and I know that this isn’t going to stop anybody from hating her or saying ride things about her, this is just how I feel personally, and I just wanna let people know that.
Not everyone hates her, and as far as I’m concerned, she shouldnt be hated. I know that not everone can be loved, but honestly, if you hate her because of the pictures and her dress, that’s a really stupid reason to hate someone. She didn’t do anything wrong enough to be hated.
And if you think that the pictures were THAT bad, then that’s fine, that’s how you feel, I don’t care, I’m not gonna sit in a corner and cut myself because you think that the pictures were bad and I dont.
Maybe you think that those pictures shouldn’t have been taken at all because girls shouldnt take pictures of themselves.
Maybe if she purposefilly put those pictures on the internety, I could see how there’d be an issue. She’d be screaming for attention, but not the good kind. But that didn’t happen.
I dunno, maybe celebs should learn by now that your phone is probably gonna get hacked, it’s happened plenty of times before. But maybe they hadn’t realized that…Maybe they were just doing something normal in their life, because their lives are anything but normal.
And then some stupid person who has nothing better to do than try and hack Miley’s phone gets the pictures of a normal teenager, but she’s not. She’s Miley, so all of a sudden, they’re bad.
I dunno…Maybe I’m all wrong.
Maybe I’m not.
