Doesn’t look to me like she’s wearing lipstick. Just because as adults we’re obsessed with looks doesn’t mean little kids are. And she’s eleven…she’s got two more years before she’s a teen. I’m glad to see that she’s unconscious of her facial hair, because it shows she’s still a child and not centered around her appearance. Madonna should be applauded for not forcing adult expectations on her little girl. I know there are lots of young girls her age plucking their eyebrows and bleaching their lip hair and wearing skirts up the wazoo and tshirts with suggestive messaging, but I don’t think it’s right. She’ll realize soon enough that her facial hair makes her outside the norm, and she should be left alone to come to that realization. Damn. Whoever hates on an 11 year old for facial hair REALLY needs to take a gander at their priorities.

I am pretty sure she is aware of her excess of facial hair.One of my daughters is blonde and at eleven already wanted to wax her legs,although she had no visible hair on them.
I guess her mom is building her self esteem the right way and reassuring her that laser treatment will solve the problem in the near future,because I guess she is too young to endure those sessions yet.
That’s what I would do anyway.

I couldn’t agree more with Casey. I am very, very surprised that the other kids at Lourdes school do not openly make fun of her. I know they are definitely doing it behind her back. It makes no difference how old you are….when your face is that hairy and you are female it just doesn’t look good…..or normal. Think about ladies, if you could go back to age 11, would you WISH and WANT to have a huge giant unibrow and mustache??? When you are THAT hairy it is perfectly acceptable to pluck or wax at age 11. Lourdes is an extreme case.

Lourdes does need to do something about those eyebrows. That catches my eye everythime I look at a picture of her. But she is just a kid. And Madonna is a good mom for not forcing her to do anything. I heard Madge is pretty strict too. But I don’t think she’s that strict. And like someone said, even if kids do pick on her, which I hope they don’t, she sure doesn’t show it. Lourdes is a pretty girl and you people should just give her time. Just let her be a kid. She prolyl doesn’t even care about her eyebrows. And at least she’s not doing what Miley’s doing. Hmm.. I had a hairy face when in her age.. and i had ONE eyebrow.. but i was actually exactly 11 years when i removed the hair between my eyes, and 12 wehen i tweezed the other shit. Then i’ve been threading my face for years now and i barely have anything
In february i met some drunk guys from my old school and they said “hey… it’s that girl with the facial hair”… and they kept telling me how sexy i was now =)

You people are all crazy to talk about a kid like this. There is no reason that she should have to do anything to her face… eleven-year-olds and even older kids shouldn’t have to shave their legs or wax… except if they want to and it’s extreme cases like this. But during summertime when they’re actually showing their legs, the sun bleaches it so fast you can barely see it anyway. I think only teenagers with very dark hair should shave (it’s so anoying to do anyway. Should we put kids through this? Is it fair?). As for facial hai, I think Madonna is being a good mom by letting her stay a kid.
No one would care if she wasn’t Madonna’s girls anyway! Besides that, without the hair she is really pretty.

lourdes is a very pretty girl as you can tell from media coverage and countless photos of her. but seriously its one thing to have a little baby hair in between your brows, its quite another to have a uni and a stache. its sad that so much obsession is put on girls appearance but its still true and im sure she would rahter not suffer through humiliation adn other girls her age picking on her. its just the truth of what will happen if she doesnt tweeze. im 16 and theres a girl at my school whos just gorgeous but she has a bit of a stache. i was talking to my friend one night, a guy, and he said this girl was so hot but that he or his friends would never think of kissing her because she had a stache. it would really suck if this kind of talk was going on around lourdes back…which sadly its just going to. kids are mean and appearance does matter. its shouldnt but it does and everyone knows it. 11 isnt too young to start plucking if her brows are that wild and her upper lip has some dark hair. AND as long as she has help from her mother becuase all girls screw up their brows if left alone with no tips. it will give her more self confidence and will save her from humilitation when her peers start to notice

My friends and I were bleaching or waxing or tweezing at the age of 11- and we were nowhere near being rich - we were mostly kids of immigrant parents. As if YOU wouldn’t have made fun of a girl with this much hair on her face, or you wouldn’t beg your parents to fix it for you — there is nothing wrong with removing facial hair on a girl. It’s not like anyone is suggesting she load up on makeup, dress like Beyonce and tongue Britney!

So, question…. If this i a reflection of Madonna’s “good” parenting, why did she let people magazine mess with her face and airbrush, ect.. Face it.
