I have no idea who named this girl. It sounds like she’s some sort of really cheap hooker who wants to be French.
Anyway, she’s supposedly running around town with Owen Wilson. They even took a yoga class together!
Page Six ran a piece yesterday about how she stole and purposely broke an umbrella some NYC restauranteur lent her. Sounds like she’s exactly what Owen Wilson needs right now. About as much as he needs to be running around the NYC bar scene.

I would like to say that she named herself Le Call. Our mother and her father named her LeAnn Kay Call. Also how can you be 25yrs old when you were born 12-16-78?
Her name is LeAnn Kay Call. She gave herself the name Le. Also she was born in 1978, you do the math.
Went to school w/ her in Licking, Missouri. Super small town. She graduated HS in 1997 and is definitely not 25.
I knew her growing up also. I’m 29 and know that she is 100% lying about her age if she’s saying she’s 25. The piece about her not being use to all this attention is crazy—LeAnn (her original name) loves attention and always has. She would throw fits in school when she wasn’t the center of attention. Her family is pretty dysfunctional so I’m sure it stems from that.
I did the math and she is currently 28 … so what’s 3 years??? big deal
Le from LeAnn isn’t exactly far fetched either … (most people don’t use their middle names)… think about Elle MacPhearson , her birth name is Elenor, I change it too.

No need to bash the models for lying about thier ages. They all do. And far as I am concerned, she dropped her middle name. Not unusual in the entertainment industry. She’s a beautiful girl in her photos but she sounds like an ugly person from the articles that come up about her. I’d be utterly embaressed if I were her talking in such a way. She is a mid to late twenties WOMAN and should act like it.
Accepting gifts from courtiers is one thing but one should have the manners to say thank you without mocking him in a magazine article if you’re going to accept it in the first place. To return something in the same condition it was borrowed maybe with a thank you card would seem well someone a little more fit for Owen.
She sounds small town even without the references. Maybe Owen can teach her which fork to use. In her defense, that is the worst picture I have seen of her and they could post better ones of her.
This is a response to the person who said Le’s family is dysfunctional. Just wondering if you know them or do you just know them from “Licking Missouri”?

She is best friends with Ciara who is almost 10 years younger than her. That’s just odd to me but probably one of the reasons why she lies about her age.
dysfuntional is not the word for it….Le’s a heartless person for a good reason. her mom’s crazy and i had plenty of classmates her dad hit on and tried to pick up while he was a teacher at high school

The way she met her last boyfriend (Chris Dexter) was lying to get into his club. She told the doorman she was very good friends with Chris in order to get in, when actually she and Chris had never met. Chris happened to be standing right there and heard the lie she told but he scooped her up anyway. Clearly a spoiled, bratty manipulator. Poor Owen!

Her real name is LeAnn Call and she is 29 years old. We were friends as children/young teens when we both lived in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. We lost touch after she moved to Licking, MO and until recently I had no idea what had become of her. I remember her as a smart and funny girl, and a good friend to me! I am sad to hear all of these negative things people are writing about her – I was hoping she had ended up a happy and content person.
She grew out of keying people’s cars and and is now breaking umbrellas. She’s matured a lot. At least she’s still HOT. I hope Owen Wilson is happy and content.

Le Ann is my niece, her dad was my only brother who died of a heart attack 1 1/2 years ago as a coach in Licking Missouri. She was born in Cape Girardeau Missouri as was her dad and myself. Cape is the home of Rush Limbaugh. She scored well over 30 on her ACT and was awarded a scholarship to Univ of Misssouri…she did not like Licking Missouri. She has been in contact with our family since my brother’s death and has met with family members who travel to NY. I have met Chris Dexter and he stood by her and cared for her during the ordeal of my brother’s heart attack.
She is a successful model but to us she is a good person and a good cousin to my children. She has survived a difficult early life and is a success in her chosen field.
I admire her and do not appreciate people discussing her that do not know her as well as I do.
I have been good friends with Le (pronounced Lee) for about 5 years and she has always been very generous and supportive. I think that whenever someone is put in the spotlight for a minute, there are sure to be people who do not like that person and try to attack their character. The Le I know is super witty and always makes me laugh when we hangout …so I can totally see why Owen would want to be with her!
Some people come into peoples lives when they are the most vulnerable only wanting to be part of their lives because they are important. I’m just commenting on Don Call. Very irritating.
Super witty with a sense of humor usually at the expense of others (really because of deep rooted insecurities) and good for someone with a drug history are too different things especially when the person in question uses. That’s what happens when you’re choose a profession in such a field, draw attention to yourself by breaking other’s property, and namedrop wealthy friends and treat their driver’s as if their your own. Does the driver have a name? She sounds despicable from her articles. I don’t think the negative comments including this one should be taken so seriously. The website’s subject line has set the tone and really now — “it’s not personal, it’s just gossip” .
My name is Matt Call. I am the son of previous poster Don Call and cousin of Le Call. Say what you want, read what you want, LeAnn is one of the strongest, most real people I know. We e-mail back and forth, and I can tell you, fame has not changed her. I’ve known her my whole life, and can say I am proud she is my cousin. Famous or not, she is still my family, and I love her no matter what.
I know everybody has to automatically rip on people and slander them without even knowing anything about them when they are put in the spotlight, for whatever reason. I’ve also thought this was sick and have only had my previous theories proven true.
So for those of you posting mean, antagonizing remarks because you think it’s cool and automatically true…

Why can’t people be happy for a small town girl who makes it big? Yes, LeAnn had her moments, but she was always a nice person to me. She did have some rough times, but it was usually because people were being jerks! Can’t ya’ll just let her past rest and quit ripping on her family!

Looks like eating 1/2 a chicken nugget per day really paid off! While the rest of us were busy chowing down on toasted ravioli, pokey stix and breaking into the kitchen to eat pies after a late night of drinking, she had her 1/2 chicken nugget. Hey, but she’s dating Owen Wilson, not me.
And ps, is anyone who models now considered a supermodel???? I thought supermodel was a term used for people that were household names…Tyra Banks, Cindi Crawford, Elle MacPherson…last time I checked Le Call wasn’t on this level.

Believe me she’s not anorexic. Our family is naturally tall and thin. I myself am 6′6″ but only weigh 185, and trust me, I eat, all the time. So don’t go classifying her into that “Starving Model” catergory. Believe me, they make me sick too. But she’s not one of them.

99% of the posts on here are about only her and NOT her and Owen, so your argument has no validity whatsoever. And no, I hate being the center of attention. I never wanna be in the spotlight at all. I say (proudly) that I am her cousin, because most people are saying shit about her when they don’t even know her, and the only reason I mention I am her cousin is to validate that I do in fact know her. She is my family, and I can’t stand people bashing her in the public eye like this for no other reason than that they can. HA! I thought the same thing. Matt may as well have left his contact information with his stats. No one was accusing her of being anorexic. In fact, she looks quite healthy. I am sure there are ways to date people in the spotlight without all the “inside sources” saying what private dinners they are attending. Owen is so popular and well liked. I am sure if anything does come of this (since he is so in love with her says another inside source) then we will all learn to like her because she is with him and maybe she will turn over a new leaf and become a nice person like he seems to be.

Of course her family will defend her, BUT I’ve worked with her dozens of times and she’s definitely an attention wh*re, difficult to work with, major attitude, etc. I’ve never met a more fake person who was soo needy for attention, and so shallow at the same time.
She’s definitely NOT anorexic – in fact we’ve noticed that she’s been putting on some weight the last few times we’ve shot her in ads.
Know her too. Not a nice person. Seems like she’s still the same–willing to do anything for money and attention. And yeah, her family IS trying to ride her not-even-D-list-celebrity coat/shirt tails—–her mother is sending out massive emails to everyone proclaiming that LeAnn is dating Owen. If the family isn’t trying to get a little attention for themselves, than why the emails? If she’s just playing the proud parent, why isn’t she sending emails about LeAnn’s photos versus the newest guy (in a string of many) that her daughter’s sleeping with in an attempt to get famous.
what´s up with the familly getting all exited? isn´t becoming a “modell” synonimous to ” wanting to be in the spotlight”? one could also become a librarian, or a nurse, or or… they are so overexited you might think the world of tabloids was all new to them. and, no mathew, my family wouldn´t come to the rescue, because one, they wouldn´t even know where to look for this kinda stuff and second, they wouldn´t care, because they don´t generaly care so much about what other people think! so maybe just chill a little there, if she´s so wonderful we´ll soon find out. her adopting all these hungry children from africa, so sweet.
I knew her at Mizzou also; we were in the same sorority. On the days that she didn’t eat 1/2 of a chicken nugget, she would eat ketchup with a spoon while looking at the rest of us with disgusting eyes for eating normal. In a house of 220 girls, I think she had only one friend. Many people tried to include her in their lives, but I agree that her self-esteem was too low. The friend that I remember that she kept around had a lower perception of self-worth than LeAnn. It was very difficult to engage with her on a level deeper than an acquaintance. In addition, she loved drama and creating drama. Her only ambition in life was to become a model, become famous and be with a more famous man. She did it…so, more power to her. But if she actually scored a 30 on her ACT, it is sad that this was all she aspired to get out of life. 15 minutes of fame doesn’t last a lifetime.
In high school we voted her most likely to be famous. They took a hilarious picture of her and another friend holding booking signs. LeAnn was a good sport when we put on hers aka Hiedi Fliess. I guess our class just realized that someday LeAnn would be famous. I think everyone should give her a little slack. We all have skeletons in our closets. If she makes Owen happy, more power to her. I certainly do not envy what she is having to put up with.
Does her family realize how bad they are making themselves look with these posts and emails? They’re basically making it sound like they encouraged her to whore herself out, use drugs, pimp out her friends, and have sex with her friends in order to entertain men. Why would they post such damaging things on the internet? It’s like her family doesn’t realize how bad this makes her look. You guys need to leave it alone, or your whole family is going to end up looking bad. She’s coming off as the worst possible choice of a girlfriend for Owen right now, and her family makes it sound like they consider what she has done to be a positive achievement when it’s clearly not. She’s made serious mistakes if her goal was to become famous, and now her family is making it worse. Good luck if it’s a sincere relationship. But if this was an attempt to get publicity for herself, it has backfired completely. When people on a message board like this start posting that your dead father came on to them in high school, the publicity has clearly not worked out the way you wanted it to, Call family. Time to let it go and learn to keep your dirty laundry private.
