Game Over for Dog the Bounty Hunter: RACIST RANT!!
It was about time we got another celeb racist rant on tape!!! Nice to know this sort of behavior is still alive and kicking. And here I was worried we were making progress in this world.
Listen to a portion of a phone conversation between Dog and his son, Tucker. Dog doesn’t want Tucker’s girlfriend, Monique, who is black, to be around because they say “nigger” in the house, and he doesn’t want that getting into the tabs and ruining his career. He claims they don’t mean it in a derogatory way, it’s just what they call black people.
Um, dude.
I like calling my little sister “Cacaface.” It’s just what I like to call her. I mean it as a term of endearment, not in a derogatory way. I do not actually believe her head is made of caca. She’s a very bright, girl, it turns out. But she doesn’t like it. It hurts her feelings. She expressed that fact, and, as a result, I stopped calling her “Cacaface.” When I see her, I still think: “Cacaface.” But what I actually say is “Allie.”
Rather than tell your son to get a new girlfriend, maybe just stop saying “nigger.” Is it some sort of verbal tic? No, not for you. So just stop saying it. Jackass.

If you ever watched his show you know that he is very… plain-spoken, and he definitely has a temper. But I think if we judge him by where he’s come from and what he’s overcome, rather than the impossible-to-live-up-to expectations that come with being a public figure in America, we’ll accept his apology, and allow him to make amends and move on.
I understand A&E’s cautious stance in the context of the whole Imus thing, but you seriously can’t compare the two situations. Imus had been on the air for decades (and made those comments on-air), was a way more prominent figure, and while he was known for being inflammatory, his job is not even comparable to Dog’s. Hopefully A&E will realize that.

If everyone who had every said something derogatory in their home about races other than their own lost their job, we would have the highest unemployment rate in the world. Well I will say that I am a Black African American Woman who “use to” love watching the dog bounty hunter show and I “use to” think he was a great guy but now I am very angry after hearing the full version of the audio tape of his racist comments towards his son Tucker’s girlfriend Monique,I mean that was totally wrong but I’m glad that he was exposed for the real a** wipe that he really is, this whole time he was just an undercover racist. I’m very happy to know that A&E will be taking his sorry racist a** off the air!!!!!!!!!!

I recently read where the DOG is sorry about his comments. No he isn’t, he is just sorry they were published.
I am getting sick and tired of the DOG crying to the public everytime he screws his life up. He seems to ask for a lot more forgiveness than he is willing to give out. The way he cusses defendants, defednant’s families and even his own family is exactly how this “legend in his own mind” really feels. He thinks he is above other people but seems to me like he has forgotten where he came from and what he has been through in his own life. I am so tired of seeing him pretend to be a christian and then run his life completely opposite. Pick a side to be on DOG, you can’t continue to ride the fence!
I am a white male and have been in the bail bonding business for 13 years. I can assure the public that the bail bonding industry does not condone the actions of Dog The Bounty Hunter in anyway shape or form.
His television show should be cancelled and he should be shipped back to Mexico and tried for violations of the law he was fully aware of before making the trip there.

The bitterness written in these blogs are outrageous. Our country will be obselete in a few years because America is destroying itself. I have read down and found ignorance, mispelled words and poor grammar seaping through the racist remarks about blacks. Perhaps some of us need to concentrate on what we can do to make it better.
I have no problem with Dog’s racism because I am not surprised. What I take issue is the fact that he pretends to be born again. He and others who say that he did not mean it, need to wake up. Jesus Christ looks into the hearts of man and sees the true character, or the lack thereof.

The hunt for racism is no different from the hunt for communism and no different than the hunt for witches before that. In this country, we’ve entered the business of trying to determine the content of one’s soul based upon pure speculation and our own business.
We’ve lost objectivity, we tear people down out adherence to a simplistic idea we’ve all been brainwashed to believe, brainwashed purely for the benefit of a subsection of the population. Those in power only use this racism game as a way of playing their politics and gaining personally (I’m looking at your Sharpton).
If we’re going to judge someone, we must look to their actions. We cannot do it on the basis of what we perceive exists inside them, for we can use any bit of evidence to convince of something we want to believe. Use of that word is hardly conclusive evidence of his racism, especially given his life’s history.
The point is this: Dogg has helped a lot of people. A lot of black people among them surely. Now we want to strip him of that ability to help for his choice of words? Personally, I’d rather hear the word a thousand times if it meant the betterment of even one person’s life.
