Does anyone else notice that whenever they have their fabulous little lunches and dinners, the food always comes a mere 30 seconds after Lauren sits down?
She doesn’t even have to order!
They just know.
Seriously. Lauren shows up to meet Jen Bunny. Thirty seconds later, so does her sandwich. Jen shows up to meet Heidi. Thirty seconds later, so do her eggs. No ordering, no waiting, no nothing. Do you know how long it takes me to get a sandwich in Hollywood? Sometimes it takes 10 minutes just to get someone to take my order! Maybe if I had a film crew with me …
Could they possibly film these meetings in, like, someone’s apartment? So that it’s not so painfully, painfully obvious that this show’s scripted?

Well a lot has to do with editing, if you look closely you can see time has elapsed, so they do have to wait for their food. Of course it’s only a thirty minute show and if waiting or food was part of the show, then the 30 minutes would be up.

Whoever wrote this article is fucking retarded. If you knew anything. You would know that they edit ANY show when they make one. And the show is not called, “The Restaurants- Watch Lauren and her friends wait for their what seems to be never coming food!” damn. Lauren is amazing! If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all! :P

The camera crew follows the show’s stars around and films hours upon hours of them living their daily lives. Then the footage gets taken back to the studio and edited. Since it’s obvious you’re completely clueless, I’ll explain editing to you.. They take all the hours of footage that they shot and cut out the unimportant parts (like waiting for food to come in a restaurant) so that they can fit all the important parts into a half hour show.
Did you seriously think they just shoot for a half hour and that’s what we get?
Or are you like 11 years old or younger so maybe you’ve never learned the concept of editing??

I am sure I’m not the only person that senses sarcasm in this article. While everyone should realize that there is editing in the show, is it at all strange that the conversations that we see, never seem to skip a beat?? Hmm maybe thats what this author is trying to get across!!!

it seems to me as though some people are taking television a little too seriously… it’s enjoyable to watch – if it wasn’t, you wouldn’t watch it and would therefore have no complaints.
