Bret Michaels Not with Jes Anymore (or Ever, Really)

Too funny. Last night I got momentarily obsessed with finding out if Bret Michaels was still dating Rock of Love winner Jes Rickleff. I spent like an hour searching through everyone’s MySpace pages to find out. And this morning, Page Six runs this:
REALITY TV-show relationships don’t last long, especially at VH1. In fact, “Rock of Love” star Brett Michaels never even got started with the “girlfriend” he selected last season, Jes Rickleff. Sources tell The Post’s Melissa Jane Kronfeld that Michaels was informed by the pink-haired punk rocker over the phone that she had taken up with a Chicago clothing designer upon returning home to the windy city. VH1 has renewed “Rock of Love” for a second season, but has not announced if Michaels will be its heartthrob.
In fact, Jes’s MySpace page does indicate she is “In a Relationship.” It also seems to have quite a bit of promotion for Chii Clothing, which I’m going to guess is her boyfriend’s line.
I also found this on Heather’s blog, regarding the finale, and found it interesting:

Even though I knew this is the way it would end I could not frickin’ stop myself from watching that hot mess of a show.
i was rooting for this to work but of course, everything in hollywood is bound to fail!
This was much more fun to watch than any other reality show. The hot babes; and Bret Micheals being a real funny guy, down to earth with the dumbest looking hats. I found myself picking MY best girl out of them, dont tell me you didn’t. Very entertaining and NOT BORING. I just Bret didn’t take it all too seriously.
Yip Jess dumped all over Bret tonite on the reunion show. She said he should have picked Heather.
I just finished watching The Rock of Love Reunion show. I think that Bret really does have feelings for Heather. And they should try and make it work. As far as Jes, if she felt that he should have picked Heather then she should have spoken up sooner. Come on why wait until now to tell him that he should have picked Heather. She should have said something when he picked her to be his Rock of Love. Bret Michaels and Heather do make a awsome couple.
I think Jes made a great decision. If he really wanted to find love then he would NOT have slept with other women on the show. He is a pig. Jes probably did not realize until she watched the show that this was not the man of her dreams. He is not looking for love. It is ridiculous. Heather is much better for him because she is wild and it does not seem like she would mind his life style. Jes would get sick of it. Stop picking on her for not feeling the same way after watching his actions on the show and it being 6 months until they saw each other. Has anyone ever been IN LOVE? NO way could you be IN love and stay away from that person. Unless of course you totally had absolutely NO choice. Shame on VH1 for not allowing them secretely to see each other.
Let’s remember people-this guy is 45 years old!!!! Maybe Mystery can give him some pointers…

After watching the full season again this Thanksgiving day, I could see that Heather was actually the only one “worthy” of Bret.
And the fact that everyone kept saying Stripper Stripper blah is just ridiculous ya know…she woulda been marrying a millionaire!!

I look forward to the next show and hopefully they integrate some Fear Factor into it so we can see hot ass beotches eating worms :P
I hate to admit it, but I just got finished watching that Thanksgiving marathon, too and also was obsessed to see if they were still together. I already knew that answer was no, but i had to check anyway. I agree that he should have stuck with Heather. Maybe they would still be together!

Even Bret said that he wasn’t really in this for love. During an interveiw he said it was just for fun.

Hey Ham & Eggs, that wasn’t a fair shot at New York (from Flavor of Love). It isn’t fair that only the men should have their fun whoring around on television. It’s about time a women had her fun. Secondly, of course Heather will be on season 2 (if the network wants their money). Think of it this way: the network is the drug lord, Bret is the dealer, and Heather is the good sh**. I hate to admit I watched the show. the right girl, the only decent girl, did win..however she is a spitfire and after watching Heather and Brett on stage before she came out (which she did) she probably was glad she had not heard from him and had decided to move on… he was very flirty and disrespectful. Just saw the first season of Rock of Love here in Oz. Loved it. Thought Lacey was the biggest bitch I had ever seen. I was upset to hear though that Bret and Jes didn’t work out. Bring on season 2.
OMG! I have only just found out! I watched the whole show – all of it and I kinda knew Heather and Jes were the 2 who would be in the final. Then in the last show Heather was all trying to be open and all this – I didn’t buy it myself. And then Jes, when she got really worried about Bret and him feeling ill. I thought then that they were right for eachother. But no offence or anything but I guess she was too young and wasn’t ready for a relationship like that. =[

Bret is a pig. Just listen to his comments when the girls are around. He’s always drooling around them. He says he wants a girlfriend but what he really wants is a girl who will be around when he’s at home and in the mood and no roadie chicks are available.

Most of these reality shows are probably fake. But I’ve seen the show “Outback Jack” and Jack and her winner married and got a child. They are still together. Might be an exception, but they really fell in love. I just wanted to tell you guys =)
