Bret Michaels Not with Jes Anymore (or Ever, Really)

Too funny. Last night I got momentarily obsessed with finding out if Bret Michaels was still dating Rock of Love winner Jes Rickleff. I spent like an hour searching through everyone’s MySpace pages to find out. And this morning, Page Six runs this:
REALITY TV-show relationships don’t last long, especially at VH1. In fact, “Rock of Love” star Brett Michaels never even got started with the “girlfriend” he selected last season, Jes Rickleff. Sources tell The Post’s Melissa Jane Kronfeld that Michaels was informed by the pink-haired punk rocker over the phone that she had taken up with a Chicago clothing designer upon returning home to the windy city. VH1 has renewed “Rock of Love” for a second season, but has not announced if Michaels will be its heartthrob.
In fact, Jes’s MySpace page does indicate she is “In a Relationship.” It also seems to have quite a bit of promotion for Chii Clothing, which I’m going to guess is her boyfriend’s line.

If there is anything real about this (or any of the other) “of love” shows – I find that just terrifying. You have 20ish cartoony women (I call them a Ho Parade) desperately vying for men who have to have every existing venereal disease that has yet been identified.
Really? Is that truly the best a girl can hope for these days?
Our culture of celebrity worship is so insane. In this case the man was born in a no-where town in PA (Butler – believe me, I was there for 2 days, so I know) who found himself in the right band at the right time (do you really think Poison could compete now if they were just starting out?) and he has clung to the same moderate measure of success (for 2 decades!) which he is now desperately exploiting at every opportunity, because at 45 he just now realizes he doesn’t have a 401K. Sorry Bret, I am sure you are a very nice person, but I have to go vommit now.
Well Well Well, in Europe we look this from time to time.
I really ask my self if that is for real…… I dont think so….
And if it is, I am schocked from the low intelectual nivo from this girls.
And surprise that a man in this age let him self to be a manipolating from such a primitive girls.
I growed up in usa…….. god thigs changed the past 10 years.

i watched every show brett- i love you and i always will,but i feel jess was your best choice ever !!!! i dont know what your looking for in life , but you got to remember life is short & it’s not all about sex… i lived that life and i know you’ll never find a true & happy ending if that’s all your looking for…i’m now42 and i really wish i would of lived a totally different lifestyle…just a little too late in life..brett i really wish i was in your league-we could of had one hell of a time..love dani
