Is Rosie O’Donnell Going to Host The Price is Right?
June 16th, 2007 by Evil BeetBob Barker, who recently filmed his last episode of the show, is supporting Rosie as an replacement.
“I believe they’re going to have a meeting with Rosie,” said Barker on Friday night. “She knows the show. There’s no doubt in my mind she could do the show. Now, whether they want a lady host, I don’t know. I’ve never heard that discussed. As far as I know, they’ve only auditioned men. She told me she loved ‘The Price Is Right’ and wanted to host it one day.”
I really don’t see how this could work. Instead of “Remember, get your pets spayed and neutered” we’d have “Remember, pull U.S. troops out of Iraq,” and I don’t think that would go over well with the large conservative portion of the show’s fanbase. I would, however, love to see Bob Barker do The View.

Rosie would be great—I love Rosie—–
GOOD GOD, Let’s hope not.
O.K. — if Bob Barker gives her the go, it’d be a shame if the folks over at the Price is Right didn’t. Honestly, can anyone deny that it’s HIS call? See — http://thenewsroom.com/details/413192?c_id=wom-bc-je
Though, unless the show became a social/political discussion hub and had chattier segments and maybe some politicans and hand-picked guests…I just feel like it’d be a waste of Rosie’s wit and opinions. Lots of respect for her, not sure if this is the right career move!
