I think it’s just an unflattering pic…besides…people are so hypocritical: one minute they’re blasting some starlet for being too skinny, next they’re laughing at someone they think is too heavey. I think Kelly Clarkson looks normal. What’s so wrong with normal?
I think she looks beautiful. Her her and makeup look fantastic and she looks healthy people!! Geez, give me that over those skanky skinny fake boob biatches out there any day!!

The thing is, yes, she looks proper chubby – BUT, i think she looks totally stunning regardless – i aint no chubby chaser or nothing but, kelly clarkson is a total babe!
I consider kelly as a well and nice person. Even if you are fat, it doesn’t matter about the outside, but the inside. What i admire about her is that she tries to be herself no matter what the odds. What is the problem with people! why do they only look at people from the outsides, but in order to look in the inside is by using x-ray glasses. All people have to do is to try making your eyes the x-ray glasses so they can see the talent that are in you, but not the outside face of the person. I admire and care that kelly is a great person with a great personality. I don’t care if she is fat! (not that she is) I admire her talent in singing. Kelly, you rock!

Ryan, at last a MAN with a sane opinion! I just don’t understand what people are talking about. Kelly is not on stage as a participant of a beauty contest (where it’s a rule to be skinny, so then, I’d at least understand the criticism, if not agree with it), but to sing! What about her songs, her performance, her personality? All great, I suppose, so what’s the use yammering about her figure? The point is, she IS beautiful and more importantly than that, it doesn’t matter if she is or isn’t so. It really seems some people don’t have better things to do with their lives just wasting time discussing the anorexic and the chubby…

Kelly is beautiful just like she is. She’s not freakishly skinny. I admire her a lot. She’s a singer, for God’s sake, and she has a darn good voice. Granted, she’s wearing a ridiculously shapeless dress, but she doesn’t deserve to be attacked about her weight!

Who cares if she did put on some weight. Its better than being 90lbs and looking like a skeleton. I think she looks fine. Anyway, who cares if she is 120lbs or 220lbs…It was her voice that made her famous and it should stay that way.

Guys, I thought the same thing when I saw her perform on tv “wow, she’s gaining some weight” but I saw Kelly in person and she looks great. Not a size 2, but very normal, maybe an 8. She’s quite short too! But still adorable.
Kelly isn’t “fat” but she isn’t thin either. Mostly she isn’t toned up. If she wasn’t in SHOW BUSINESS, then no problem. But when your image is critical to your career you should want to look your best. Kelly looks like she had some work done on her smile. She has a hairdresser and a wardrobe person (who she should fire). Nobody says she should starve herself. But if she went to the gym for a couple of hours a day and toned up those arms and thighs she would look fantastic. Not skinny, just in great shape. Her looks are important to her career, she can’t afford to be lazy. Exercise is also good for your overall health and stamina.
She’s not skinny, a little chubby. But she does look good in this picture.. I think she’s very talented and she’s my fav female singer! Doesn’t matter how she looks like. She looks healthy anyway. Go kelly! <3

I think she looks perfectly NORMAL! I still love her no matter what size she is. Whould everyone rather her look like Kate Moss? She’s not obese or anything she is just a bigger girl. I don’t get all the negative comments about how fat she is. People don’t ever make comments like that about Jennifer Lopez or Beyonce.

She is only like 5′3″. She came to my school Friday and she looked like a normal person… I am glad she isn’t trying to be some kind of whacked out celebrity and weigh 105 pounds. I think she makes an excellent role model for high school girls especially with her weight and position as a celebrity. She is famous, alot of people love her and she isn’t an awkward boney creature.
