Going from “Fat Actress” to wearing a bikini on Oprah is quite a journey. I give her props for putting down the cheesecake and getting healthy. It is great to see somebody slim down without freaky surgery or endorsing dangerous diet pills.

Rapper Snoop Dogg turned himself in to Orange County authorities this morning, four days after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Snoop rolled up to the OC Jail in a dark purple Porsche Carrera, with a driver and a bodyguard. His attorney says he was “handled extremely well by the Orange County Sheriff’s Dept.,” who booked him on one felony count of possession of a deadly weapon. He was released on $150,000 bail, and he is due back in court December 4.
The warrant was issued after Snoop attempted to walk through an X-ray machine at John Wayne Airport in Orange County with a 21-inch collapsible baton packed into his laptop case. Because, you know, a collapsible baton looks a lot like a laptop. And it’s not like anyone’s going to be paying special attention to what he has in his luggage, just because he’s a mega-watt celebrity. And what’s the big problem with bringing a 21-inch baton on an airplane, anyway? It’s not like it’s toothpaste.

“So we’re walking down the street in Miami past this Mexican restaurant. Victoria says, “did you see Ludacris sitting over there?” he was with a big group of people. We decided we should stop for some margaritas. We tried to discretely take a picture of him by pretending we were taking a picture of us and having the camera pointed at him. So we got the picture after a few tries and thought we were slick. Then they finished eating and they got up and Lucacris walked over to out table and says, “Do you want to take another picture of me, this time with me actually looking at the camera?” We were sooooo caught off guard and couldn’t believe he caught us. Haha. so here are the pictures. The first one is the one we thought we were slick about, but as you can see he’s looking right at the camera with a “I see you biatches taking a picture of me” look on his face. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Miami. =)”

New feature from the T. Going to give you heads up on some music that I enjoy. If you have an artist that you think should be featured send me an email. My first artist is Regina Spektor. She is a Russian born anti-folk singer songwriter who is tearing up the airwaves with her unique voice. Like Tori Amos, a favorite of the Beet and I, she is a classically trained pianist. Her lyrics are amazing and I love this video. Check it out.
